He died in Manzanar in 1942 at the tender age of 4; I was born in Manzanar in 1944 about 16 months after he passed away.
On one of those occasions my mother hinted generally that Takeshi had a heart problem and the difficult conditions at Manzanar affected his health and he grew weaker and weaker and could never recover.he was able to go to the Philmont Scout Ranch twice.
